Favourite TV: Atlanta, Bodyguard, First Dates, The Bisexual, The Good Doctor, The Good Fight, The Great British Bakeoff, The Handmaid’s Tale, Killing Eve, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Il Miracolo, Queer Eye, This Is Us, A Very English Scandal.
Favourite TV moment: Danny Dyer slagging off David Cameron sitting around with his “trotters up”
Favourite meals: Indonesian rijsttafel at Dewi Sri in Rotterdam; pintxos at Nagusia Lau in San Sebastian; tapas at Brunilda in Seville; breakfast at The Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC; and closer to home…seafood pancake and Korean chicken wings at Bada Tapas in Godalming
Favourite trip (work): Lapland, for an Indigenous Film Conference. Temperature was -36, my nose hairs froze but I got to see some reindeer up close and personal.
Favourite trip (fun): Sitting by the pool with Scott at Melia Hacienda del Conde in Buenavista del Norte in Tenerife; an Icelandic road trip with my friend Laufey from the East Fjords back to Reykjavik.
My firsts this year: riding a Segway (fun!), falling over in the snow in Lapland (cold!)
